Help! Opinions Needed on '09 TT vs. Targa/C4S Cab Purchase
I already own a '06 997TT coupe. My wife recently saw and fell in love with a brand new white '09 997TT Tip Cab and wants it. However, I suggested that she look at the new Targa or C4S Cab.
I told her that buying the TT now, with the Tip, might not be a wise decision because it will be considered "old" technology in 2-3 years and the car's value could drop considerably. On the other hand, the Targa and C4S have already been updated with new body styling, engines and transmissions. I think one of these would be the more prudent purchase because and besides, she really doesn't need the performance of the TT. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

meat-i know that you are probably just making a writing mistake, but they never made 06 997tt coupes, first year was 07, as written in your descriptions of your cars. as far as which one, tough question-purely preference.

I just bought my wife a TT cab for xmas.....she doesn't know about it yet....She is a level headed girl and I know she can drive it safely. If thats what she wants then thats what she should get, I'll never forget the one time I didn't buy what I really wanted, every time i looked at that car it reminded me of the mistake i did.How great would it be to say " yea my wife drives one too"
My vote is for the TT...
When and if a better TT comes out..trade it in and get it.....Simple

typo-that was the word that i was looking for-you know meat, just my opinion, but if you are in the snow belt, a c4s cab with a pdk with winter tires on it when it gets cold is about as good as it gets for fun and reliable transportation.
