08 cars are very sensitive. When they service your 07 they also recallibrate the 02 sensor threshold to 08 specs, that could be the issue, there bungs would help.

CELs out of the closet
I'm pleased to see this thread because the CEL issue with new exhausts may be more common that we know. There are some very good companies who manufacturer after market exhausts and their products are excellent (so this is not a criticism of these companies nor their products) - some of these are noted in the posts in this thread. I too have an after market exhaust from a very reputable companies and have ongoing CEL issues. Considering how many they sell and how many satisfied customers they have I understand why they direct us to other issues first before jumping to the conclusion "it's the exhaust!" (which is the explanation of choice by your car dealer) While I'm a nubie, when you change a significant part of a "system" its balance is sometimes unsettled (perhaps moreso on the newer models as their technology is more sensitive = "advanced") - of course this is never mentioned on company web sites, and who can blame them. There are some threads that are helpful so my comments below are not original.
- You need to collect information as your CEL codes can vary, or not, and this can help in identifying the source. Get your tuner (forget the dealer - they won't touch it or anything they remotely think is related to your new exhaust) to read the codes a few times and get a portable OBD2 reader to add to the collection of info re your CEL codes.
- Check hoses for leaks, clean your MAF, and try bung extensions to see if this fixes the CELs, OR you get new CELs.
- Depending upon your CEL code history, O2 sensor replacements are next (not from your dealer - your reputable tuner or do it yourself).
- If anyone has done all these and still have CELs I think you can go to your exhaust company for help - I think they are pretty good if you've done all of the above.
- Consumers should be aware of the CEL possibility up front and that some patience and $ may be required.
- Obviously, if the CEL code is not exhaust related - take it to your dealer.
- ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS DONE ALL THIS AND STILL HAS CELs?
- Stories and solutions from others would be helpful.
- Any CEL with power kits (e.g., ECU flash - minus exhaust issue)?
Mods bring risks - not necessarily related to the quality of the exhaust itself. Solutions come from good tuners, good aftermarket companies, and members of forums like this. Whew!

I have FS on my '07 and have had CEL issues since the system was installed (before the '08 Flashes were done so I dont think that's the issue).
FS offered great customer service and sent me their new HJS cats but still getting the CEL. I don't have the codes in front of me but both the dealer and indy said it was cat related. I think FS is mad at me so I may have to try to come up with another solution
BTW, what the hell is a bung and where do I get it? LOL!

Cool
Very cool. Kudos to this company for their after sales service and for clearly stating they want to and will assist their customers until the problem is resolved. (no I'm not a customer nor do I work for them). More please!
Thanks
Thanks. I think it safe and fair to say that people with the CEL issue (myself included) are a very small percentage of customers dealing with reputable companies and it probably isn't there products. But we still need info and support to resolve this asap. And customers need to treat companies with respect if they want to get the same. We easily make causal inferences when we change the exhaust and all of a sudden a CEL appears - it just isn't that easy (wish life was that simple).
Sounds like a great system you have, enjoy!
