How Seattle Deals with Snow-funny video

You may have heard that we have just received the biggest snow storm in the Pacific Northwest in over 20 years. We are all trying to cope, but this one tells it all....watch and have a good laugh! funny

That looks brutal . Here's the contrast ...

It was 80 and sunny here today . I took a sunday drive to Delray Beach. I saw a nice grey modded 996 Turbo and on the drive ecountered two 997S cabs (997.1 and the new 997.2) . Fun drive .

Oddly the weather was even sunnier up in Delray which was an hour north . We never expected a beach day but look how beautiful this water looked.

I've seen that before, I'm going to add it to the Turbo weight loss thread as the quickest way to remove about 100 lbs.

Ah Larry, that sounds really great. It is kindof fun having all this snow though - I love the seasons. The only drawback is my turbo has to stay in the garage. With all the crazy drivers here, I would not risk taking it out. But it looks like a rare white Christmas for us this year. The lights look beautiful with the snowy limbs and backgrounds.

The last time I saw snow was 15 years ago . My girlfriend never saw it yet . I love the way it looks especially at this time of year but for now I live the land of melted Frosty the snowman .

I know it's mentioned in the video comments, but Greta's video is actually Portland. The drunk driver coming down the closed street is definitely a Seattle driver though. Some people are just that clueless here......

Oh dear, we could have been in one of those videos today. My husband and I decided to go to an 11:45am movie today and we finally made the 2:45pm show and arrived home at 8pm without our car! Our foot of snow started to melt slightly today then turned to ice. Well the MB E-Class that my husband drives had been doing great all week, until today. Two hours to get us out of our neighborhood and at least 12 people helping us push, shovel, put chains on, then off, then all over again on the way home. We ended up leaving our car about a mile from home at a grocery store lot. It was a day to remember and looks like we get to do it again tomorrow (when he gets to take me to my 8am hair appointment). The good news: we say Marley & Me which was a really good movie and for anyone who has owned a dog, will really hit home.

Happy Holidays to everyone.
