how does the awd system on the 997tt differ from the 996tt ?

also, any rwd converts on here ?

one can remove the shaft out to the front diff, but how will the ptm work then

BRN 997 TT is infamous around these parts

I know that the 996TT's shaft could be removed with no problems, but I was wondering if I could do the same to the 997TT? I don't want to hurt the car.

Has anyone here actually removed the front shaft yet.... ?

Haven't heard of anyone trying this out, almost makes me believe its a bit more tricky than the 996TT since I would have figured by now someone would have attempted this or looked into.

on my 996tt it literally is as easy as removing the drive shaft...
the psm works fine

i heard that the 997tt has an electronically controlled center viscous or something like that

lintc0532 has a reputation beyond repute

It might have some sort of balancing equipment or special LSD system in the gearbox,if the front wheel out of power supply it won't work.Thats what I guess.
