Better Handling w/ Porsche Cup Front and Rear Control Linkage Changes, Etc.
At S-Car-Go in San Rafael, CA. I’m having installed, Porsche Cup lower control arms with TRG monoball bushings swapped in place of the stock ones. Also installed are TRG rear tow arms with monoball ends.
Additionally, I’m having aluminum tubes made that will take the place of the EVOMS hoses coming out of the intercoolers that lead to the turbos. One hose split and the replacement hose fit so poorly it came off. Since the new and old hoses matched I decided to go with a better solution. The boost should rise quicker without an initial loss of boost pressure soaked up by the expanding hoses.
The Cup control arm is a two-piece affair that allows camber adjustments by way of shims installed in-between the two pieces. In the first picture you can see the two attached pieces (the small piece with swapped TRG monoballs) without shims. The other bushing inside the arm (thrust arm bushing) is a TRG monoball swapped for the stock one. The other arm is my old stock one.
So far, one rear corner has been done. I’ll report on the handling once I get the car back.
I’m going to install a large button kill switch for the Passport 9500 ci so I can shut it off quickly if needed, without fumbling for the tiny on/off button on the stock control. As one of our sponsors asked before, I’ll post pictures of the installed components. Sorry it’s taken so long.

Are you going to be tracking your car?? Do you have the EVOMS 700 kit on your car?? If so how is it holding up and how many miles have you put on it? I really like the way your setting up your TT. Keep us updated on the out come of the suspension set up.
We are about to release our package that includes these parts. We run and recommend to all of our 997TT clients to make this move... See the video in this post.

I do have the EVT 700 package. It's holding up as far as the engine staying together. I had a leaking intercooler core but Todd at EVOMS took care of it quickly. Alex at Shark Werks was right on top of things to facilitate it. A hose blew and I'm working on that. I have about 13k miles on the kit.
TT Surgeon,
Thanks!
Mine aren't solid either, but I suspect that the ride will be harder than OEM. I'll look into the locking plates. Thanks.
Yes. I see now. I thought there was some more rubber in there. The thrust bushing has a rubber outer piece though. I hope I won't mind the harder ride quality but I really appreciate a quicker response, so I'll likely come to terms with it all. I'll give a report after I get the car back.
