Nice ! any plan on working on the gt2 turbos?

 

No. After careful examination, we found our modified VTG's from the standard turbo able to produce more power.

wow that's cool , i thought the GT2 vtg, which are bigger in construction than 997TT could be reworked with even bigger wheels than the reworked 997tt turbines to reach another levels like, pure assumtion, 800hp of power but if you found the ultimate combo using standard turbo that's good to hear

Sounds pretty good I have to admit, more tubi-esque sounding than your other dual can system.(That's a compliment)

 

Let me clarify. I should have been more specific to avoid confusion.

Our turbos make more power than STOCK GT2 turbos, but the GT2 turbos definitely have more potential if we put our larger compressor wheels on them.

The problem is that we cannot get the GT2 turbine housing and turbine wheels separately, so we cannot “upgrade” turbos from a 997TT with these parts, which means new GT2 turbos have to be purchased as a starting point. And they are wicked expensive and not available from BW aftermarket.

And that would only be suitable for 997TT upgrade. Given the already high boost we are running on the GT2 to make up for its expansion intake manifold, we would not be comfortable running even more boost with upgraded turbos on stock internals.

 

and why? As I remember you have 997 tt 750HP kit in offer, I didn't notice that you change the internals.
you can run with gt2 modified turbines with lover boost and you will have more power.
