Let me make sure I understand you.

You purchased the control units for the front and rear, as well as the LED tail lights.

You swapped the front pins, installed the front and rear control units and swapped out the originals.

You plugged in the harness with the LEDs, attached the LEDs, and programmed it with PIWIS, and you got a warning light.

I'm not sure I understand what happened next, but it sounds like you swapped back to the original light system, control units, but still have a warning?

Is this correct?

This may sound elementary or stupid, and you may have tried it already, but have you tried disconnecting the battery, touching the two terminals with each other (battery is disconnected) and then plugging the terminals back on to the battery to clear your ECU? This often resets the ECU and eliminates all warning codes.

the technicians at Porsche told me they tried everything...the car went to porsche a couple of time and we still cannot get the warning light away...i just forwared him what you told me and see if he tried the same exact thing. i have the 09 front and rear mudules we are not even using them...we had installed the 09 front and rear modules and reprogrammed the LED and the warning light was still here...the lights are working fine ,but we do have the warning light on the dash

I am new here

Good morning, I have the honor or driving a pristine, '02 turbo coupe. Life is good. I am interested in installing aftermarket tail lights. Is there any advise I might receive. My desire is to not modify the surrounding area, just replace the old with new!

Hey, need help. I have a control module that needs to be plugged in at the body shop I am working with we cannot seem to find out were it should go. It is the front control module that needs to be hooked up in order for the LED lights to work. I just would like someone to tell me where it should go as it doesnt seem to fit under the front seat where the other control module is!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To convert a 996 to 997.2 like my car you are looking at spending over $20,000. You can't just put the new tail lights on.

the other option i was given was to use resistors in the rear loom on indicaters
sidelights
50w sidelights
25w each side indicators
this way i dont have to change modules its the same as converting the 955 cayenne to 957 cayenne rear lights
?????????????????

led tail light conversion

i have the same issue as one of the earlier posts: i have swapped the pins, replaced the front control module and programmed it at the dealer. I have two issues: turn signals are hyperflashing (blinking too fast) and warning light is on. Any suggestions?
