Tiptronic questions

I have heard of cars running 0-60 times under 3 seconds,

Do i need to shift gears manually to achieve best possible results?

When i floor my car it finds it difficult to shift in the first 3 gears. Some times it hits the limiter some other times it cuts down for 1/10 of a sec and then shifts, is this normal?

I have reprogrammed my ECU

Is it ok to brake launch all the time, or just do it once in a while?

you press the sport chrono you take the anti spin off
you press the brake with your left foot and with the right foot you step on the gas till you see the arrow of the overboost... You have the tiptronic in the automatic mode.. Not in manual, (you will not able to change the gear without hitting the limiter...) and then you take your left foot of the brake... thats all...

Good luck with your transmission it costs 9800euros in exchange... if you do it all the time TRUST me you are going to break it...

I have heard though that you can upgrade some parts of the transmission in europe and in usa... torque converter and valve body..

also you have to buy a driftbox or a performancebox in order to see the results...
Welcome to my world..

With your car turned off press the acell pedal all the way down...feel the little click at the end....like you are pressing a button under the pedal....??? Make sure you press the pedal down all the way and press that button under the pedal. When you do that the car will up shift automatically no matter if you are in auto or manual mode. If you do not full depress the pedal and click down the button while in manual mode the car will just bounce off the rev limiter.

Hope this helps.

I pick up a new steering wheel with paddle shifters you'll be much happier. I enjoy driving mine much more with a paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Much better than the buttons that comes from Porsche in the OE steering wheel.
