I don't have a pic, but here's a little feedback.

I dropped off my TT for some mods earlier this week. When I picked her up, she was parked near her twin (same color, stock rims). However, her twin was lowered w/ H&R springs (1") and had 5mm spacers all around.

The difference in appearance was stunning! So I promptly ordered the springs but got 7mm spacers in front and 14mm spacers in rear. After seeing the car lowered on stock rims in person, I'm no longer in the market for new rims--the stocks look great! Not only will this give me a little better performance, but it's saved me big $$ on rims.

Of course lowering the car & getting aftermarket rims would be even better, but not necessary for me.

Agree. I don't have a TT, but a C2S. As for rims...different and marginally more attractive is not worth 6-7k. Could deffinately see purchasing rims if the car came with steel rims/plastic hubcaps...but all the Porsche stock rims look nice to me, and some more than others.

If you lower with stock wheels, you will want to to get spacers 7mm and 15mm. other wise the wheels look to sit in to far..

I just installed the bilstein damptronics(w/PASM) on my '08 997TT Cab this afternoon. took 4 hrs to install. The ride is incredible; night and day! Lowered the car by 1.5 inches all the way around. I'm on stock wheels.

Will post pics tomorrow. The rears went in to the fender a bit more so I plan on getting 15mm spacers to bring them out flush. I do love the new stance and much-improved ride.

gotta admit, looks a bit better than i had anticipated. i'm thinking about detuning my tt a bit, for use around nyc, dunno whether to get gt3 rims with ps2s or just throw on the old stock tt rims to bang around town. gotta protect the dymags!

same here. I think it's still looks good. For those who are thinking of doing this, just need to put 15mm spacers in the rear.

Springs and wheel spacers were the most effective mod for my TT so far. I got the springs used from a forum member for $200, and 13mm/5mm hub centric wheel spacers and longer bolts for $225. So for under $500, I got the look that I was looking for and I do like the look of the OEM wheels enough that I am happy with the look of the car now. I'm out of town on vacation right now so I'll have to post pictures later in the week. Yes, I still check 6speed when I'm on vacation.
