Sup! Q about racing my GT3
Sup! Q about racing my GT3
So hey I've decided to start racing my GT3. I susally race mostly on the streets around bay area but that is getting old yo! (and not many cars can keep up with my gt3!)
is infineon a good track? I watched a couple videos seems like gt3s go kinda slow around there - fastest i saw was arounf 1:50 i think. I'm pretty sure i could beat that sinc my friend said he did a 1:45 in his audi A3 a couple years back.
any advice on track organizations? how do i get into an advanced group if i haven't tracked before - no way i want to be paying all that dough just to be stuck behind a MIATA!
thanks guys this forum seems really great. look fwd to seeing you out there!

"should be faster, could be faster..." LOL... take it easy YO... on a serious note, get out there, learn the lines, get some seat time... then worry about the slow cars on your tail in every corner...
i've heard good things about Infineon...

Infineon is not kind to track novices...you would be wise to make your first few track outings at a track like Thunderhill where there is plenty of run off room and very few nearby walls to ruin your day...you also might consider dropping the ghetto facade. It will not serve you well on this forum or at the track

This has to be a joke. No one is possibly this much of a buffoon.
and where are you street racing where you're walking people with a GT3? any blown maro or pony out of oakland will smoke you handsomedly on the street....I'm assuming straight lines here.....puzzling

Frankly I would skip all of the above suggestions and go straight to Formula 1.
