Finally got one! Basalt Black Turbo

Good day everyone!

Today is indeed a good day. I took delivery of my 2009 Basalt Black Turbo, and it is the best car I have ever driven. I have been a lurker on here for some time and I finally made the plunge from the M5 Board to here. This is a great community and I hope to contribute to it going forward. I was originally in the amrket for a nice C4S, but the price that this car was offered to me was too good to pass up.

Also, for anyone who is curious, the Sport Bucket seats are equally as comfortable as the standard seats. Ingress and egress are a bit tough, but I just slide the seat back before getting out. I will post better photos once the tint and clear side markers are on this weekend.

Here is a camera photo of the car; sorry it is REALLY blurry.

My will power is strong, and my wallet is tight... I said this before I modded the M5s.

- Stuck with a bunch of aftermarket M5 parts.

Thanks everyone! I can see that modding is an addiction here.

Yes, it is a daily driver, and no I don't mind parking it outside. The only thing I worry about is the waste that comes from the backsides of those "rats with wings."

Outside of the clear signals, first mod should be....?

Hey congrats on the purchase...I think I remember you from M5 board from when I used to spend a lot of time there with my E39 M5.

Enjoy the Turbo in good health, I'm hoping this will also be my next car to sit next to the AMG..

oh ya...MORE PICS!!!!!

how are the backseats working for you? does the bucket seats make it hard to get into the back?

The access to the ultra-generous back seats are the same as if the turbo had the active sport seats. The beauty of these fiberglass/carbon fiber units is that they fold forward.

More pics this weekend when it gets its first bath. My goodness black gets dusty fast.
