I recently got a pair of DLED2 from Hoen that's whiter in color. Now, it's almost perfect match to my 6000K HID bulb. Light output is similar to that of DLED3.

Sorry for the bad pict (passenger side is DLED3). If I have to venture a guess, it's 8k vs DLED2 (driver side) at around 6K.

I emailed Hoen about the dLed2 but so far no answer, and no phone number either.

1. Does anyone know that these guys are still alive and well, and still fulfilling customers' orders?

2. Also, I assume what I want to order is this http://www.hoen-usa.com/city.htm "Hoën dLED $40 per pair" right?

3. I asked about dLed2, but no answer so far. The one available is dLed3, which I believe is a lot more bluish. I don't mind - actually think it looks "cool," but just want to make sure I am not missing something - like it won't look too weird?

TIA

Hi Can - I ordered LED license lights from them about two months ago and as always I got excellent quality service. I also got replacement front DLED under warranty as well.

Yes - those are the lights

I have both versions as well as their amber dLEDs. The dLED2 as you found out is whiter and matches the headlights quite well. The dLED3's are a bit more blue/greenish. I prefer the dLED2's.

They have great customer service! I've had no problems communicating with them via email and they've always come through whenever I had issues.

Thanks guys; I placed my order. BTW, dLED2 is no more. Hoen's reply to me regarding dLED2 is below.

Sorry for the delay Can, this was sent to our spam folder and I was just
going through it. The dLED 2 is no more, the 3 produces a better light
output on the Turbo. This is the third revision of the dLED and is using
the same LED's as the dled 2, just with one forward firing variant. This
LED is a closer match to the HID light color.

I must have received the latest DLED3 from Hoen and I can attest that color is very close match to my 6000K HID.

Lou, no I didn't..I thought about it but the cost is pretty crazy. $1300 for each headlight plus $1200 for the control module and a few other sensors for some more $$$. Nah, I actually prefer my current headlights over the newer style.

Atomic - what color is your HID? I really like the pure white look. Thanks

Thanks Atomic! Do you happen to recall what brand you went with? Philips, Garax, etc

Ok guys, I have read the whole thread and I did not found my answer.

Here's my question:
Which bulb upgrade can I do to my fog lights in order to match with my 6000k D2S Philps highbeams and dLED3 city lights?

I do not want the HID system with balasts and everything, I wish to simply change the bulbs for H3 fog bulbs (super whites I guess) but which ones and which intensity? 6000k?

Thanks!
