$730 Oil Change????
I do however feel its important to document and have the dealer stamp for resale purposes in the manual. They acted like they were doing me a favor because I bought the car there. Yeah right, bunch of BS. They also said they check everything, change wiper blades, the carbon filter? and clean out the intake grates, are you kidding me......
Changing brake fluid is very easy, especially with a one man bleeding kit. It is cheap insurance. I think you'd be pushing it if you hadn't flushed it in more than 2 years, and then headed to a DE event or a spirited drive (which is hardly what I call "abuse.)

Not so sure about the importance of the dealership stamp. Save the receipts for the filter and oil, tear off the top of the filter box with the part number and staple it to that receipt, put in glove box or with other car records. Take a few digital pics if you think it is necesary and put on a cheapy thumb drive. It is super easy (if you like doing your own work)...you will know without a doubt it was done correctly and with the care only you will give your vehicle.
Even after having the dealership change the oil on my 996TT, more than half the time they forgot to stamp the book anyways, lol...
Thanks for the input. I called around and found another annual service price of $589.00 with a September discount of $389.00. I have not decided to do it yet because I am so pissed that the dealer tried to rake me for $730. I do however feel its important to document and have the dealer stamp for resale purposes in the manual. I emailed them the qoute from a local dealer and they matched the price. They acted like they were doing me a favor because I bought the car there. Yeah right, bunch of BS. They also said they check everything, change wiper blades, the carbon filter? and clean out the intake grates, are you kidding me......
F****ing BS, dont get suckered, if you really care about having it dealer documented, tell them that the other dealer offered to lower their price just to get you as a customer, I do it all myself as I own a few repair shops and its really a joke as far as complexity (as far as oil changes go). its probably easier than any other car I've ever seen. The so called "check everything" is just while the oil is draining the tech is looking under the car, once again BS
Wow...even 250 is too much for an oil change like others have said save yourself the money and get the diy satisfaction of working on your car. Just good documentation and receipts on your part and i don't see why it would hurt resale unless you only did it once prior to sale? might raise a question in certain scenario's but even that's a stretch imo...
