Could have been downhill, high trailing wind, etc. Porsche official figure is 3.4s to 100kph for the PDK equipped 997.2 Turbo.

Porsche figures usually on the conservative side 0.2-0.3s quicker than what they quote, could be possible? though that is QUICK! maybe quicker than the upcoming 458 Italia?

The 0-200 in the table is about 2 seconds faster than the 997.1 (from magazine reviews), is that right? Wow that's quick.

The 0-300 time is more or less exactly the same as a Z06.

1. How is a Geiger Z06 slower than a stock Z06?

2. how is a Geiger Ford GT faster than a much lighter, more powerful CCXR?

I also thought the CCXR had 1004bhp and weighed 12XXkg. Is it just me that thinks the CCXR is claiming more power than it actually has?

I've never seen a CCXR Edition put in a 0-200mph is the low 20s ever.

Why? Still slow to 300. With a 10.8 second run to 200, you would expect a 300 to come in under 35 seconds, but it is still >40 seconds. Sounds almost GT-R ish...fast off the blocks, slow on the top end. Is that what you really want? LOL...I guess Porsche really did learn from Nissan...

You don't need to...take away the launch and the 100-200 sprint was 7.7 seconds...so the 911 turbo has finally caught up to the Z06...

Lol...true,but what I thought is you ll never stop mod a 997tt..So in case the PDK handles good power and you put 700hp in the 997tt.2 then the topend wouldnt be a problem anymore and it will be a overall faster car than a 700hp 997tt.1....Correct?

It figures that a car topping out around 194mph will be slow to 300kph (186mph). Bit more power will take car of that.
