Great job BumperPlugs!

Custom Kenwood 9140 install with a factory look -

Great job Eric, as it is with all the work you have done for me!

I just installed the thin Kenwood frame that BumperPlugs painted on the Kenwood unit.

Eric also painted the custom surround that was handcrafted to mimic the factory PCM .

The look is just what I had hoped for.

Sorry for the poor quality iPhone pics.

I'm getting close to the end of a lot of modifications that I'll present soon.

Very clean and OEM. Just the way a modification like this should be in this car.

I understand that you have to install a amp in the 2008TT if you intall aftermarket Nav Unit as the TT has fibre cable?
Did you have to install a amp or change the original Bose speaker system?
Thanks,
Todo

My car is an '07 but I seem to recall that there are ways to interface an aftermarket head unit with the stock amps.

Sorry, I can't help you more than that.

I haven't really used the unit yet as the car is having exterior work done and a few more interior things.

Here is a link to a forum for the unit in question:
