that isnt an unexpected result, but for 1/3 the price the vette does well

 

cant lie, that vette is one of the best cars for its value on the market & it 0-60 is in the 3's, but honestly i would never buy one, because it is just a chevy at the end of the day.

 

I have really thought the last version of the vette (C6 i think) is an outstanding ride (especially the Z06 ) and would love to have one if it weren't for that damn stigma that goes with it. I love the look of the car and the performance for the buck is one of the best.

 

GT2 is topgun of 911 models.So it should race the ZR1 not the Z06..ZR1 is kinda beast.

 

I had a Z06 and did like it. The performance and fun factor were amazing. Problem was the interior is so cheap and crappy that I couldn't get past it. Also, the stereotype that comes with these cars are hard to get past as well. I felt like I had to slick my hair back and put on 3 or 4 gold chains to take it around the block.

 

Z's are fast roll cars! That is a great testament to how fast GT2's really are! Great post

 

Despite what the outcome may or may not have been, I'd much rather seen the roll on "race" without one car jumping into the lane of another. It could be argued that the Corvette driver lifted when the Porsche jumped into his lane. At the speed they were going it's not hard to fathom. I'm a Porsche fan by the way.

i like the z06, its just the interior is so crap looking, and i can't get past that, some interiors in other chevy cars look better, i don't know why they haven't done anything to it...

 

I have never heard of this "streotype before" but i can tell you a lot of the vette owners I know are posers.

The C6/Z06 is a great value, and in race trim, is a formidable car. I don't like the looks of these cars, but I don't care if people think I am a 'poser' or whatever. Life is too short - "What is the difference between a porcupine and a Porsche?"
