Ouch

Saturday at Putnam Park Road Course near Indianapolis. Everyone was ok, but the car didn't fair well...

Make you wanna never to trade in your awd, i just told one of my buddy's today they could keep that GT2, for 185,000, ill buy the turbo for next purchase and come around the corners with so much more confidence......Very nice car (GT2) but too expensive...

I heard he had track insurance since he does a lot of events. He is an instructor and very experienced driver. Stuff just happens sometimes...

An AWD car can go off the track just as easily, there are many factors involved in putting '4 off'.

agreed. Moreover, RWD can be more forgiving to overcorrection.

Looks to be mostly body damage. Not saying it won't be pricey, but that hopefull the car is still structurally sound. The wheel doesn't look as if it was hit.

does the rear quarter panels looks it needs to be changed?

I think the rear quarters were ok. Only thing that was hard to tell was if the engine had any damage. The rear was definitely shoved up to the engine. It is so hard to tell what all is damaged without an experienced eye. Could be minor stuff, or could be serious stuff that is hard to see...
