Suspension Squeak

Ok, I just got my car back from getting the TPMS issues sorted out. Still not completely fixed, but on the right track at least. When I got the car back, I started hearing a squeak coming from the front end of the car everytime the car goes over any undulations or bumps in the road. IT was never there before, so it's anew problem.

I put the car on a lift to see if maybe a drop link or something was loose up front. Everything seems to be tight. What can it be? Maybe a control arm bushing? Anyone have any ideas? You input is appreciated.

Bushings? Good question. I don't remember if we did or not.

Hi Mike,

You might want to PM Larry "hummm 3" about this. He's investigating something of a similar nature with his car (Bilstein, H&R sway, Tarett drop links). He's tried different things, including some rubber boots with silicone lubricant for the Tarett.

I seemed to have almost the exact same issue - there is muted squeak/rattle when going over slight bumps and undulations on the road. I took it in and they say it's normal

Suspension is 100% stock. Do I have some issues with bushings or is this really normal?

Thanks

Abby - there is another post on similar issue. Certain 2007 models were affected due to bad weld. I have 2008 so I don't think my car was involved in the TSB...
