2008 Headlight conversion to 2010 headlights..possible?

Gentlemen,

what do you think it would take to convert from 2008 headlights to the new 2010 headlights? simple? more work than it looks? forget about it? thanks.

The 2008's and 2010's share the same standard Litronic headlights, with the exception of the dynamic cornering lights and the lightweight halogen lights from the GT3's. It looks like trying to retrofit the dynamic lights may take a Porsche engineer, I would avoid that upgrade.

If your serious, which I'm assuming you are, contact Beau from Wicked Motor Works. I've had a few crazy questions like this myself with the GT2 style bumpers for a 997 Turbo. He has done sooooo many different things to 911s, headlights, wide bodys, 996 to 997, custom body kits... He can also upgrade your rear tail lights to the 2010 style.

Happy moding!

And let us know what you decide

My guess is you'll need the front light control unit and PIWIS or Durametric to activate it. Probably not worth the $$.

FWIW, I really like the new lights. Get's rid of a lot of the chrome, add's a lot more detail and has that CGTish dual headlamp look.

Wouldn't it cost something similar to what the rear LED light conversation cost? I no the front lights always cost more, but maybe something close...I am quite interested in doing this, so if anyone attempts it, keep us posted!
