Ordered SOFTRONIC ECU :)
Hi Zzinger, what is the 0-60mph time with the new ECU? Please provide your baseline time as well because numbers range widely. Anybody else with their experience with Softronic please chime in as well. Thanks
Cikastef, I have not had time to gather the information you asked for but all I can tell you is that the Softronic tune is fabulous. As I mentioned in the thread earlier the power is brutal and the car remains very smooth to drive throughout the RPM range. The car reaches 17psi in sport mode and the car is on another level now. Whichever tune you choose, Softronic should be on the top of your list of options....

0-60mph time with the Softronic anyone else?
My car already reaches 17psi with stock ecu. I was hopping that with a ecu tune we would see at least 19psi.
I saw 17 psi for a split second in stock form while in 4th gear at 3000rpm and flooring it. Now 17 psi is on the screen almost all the time when accelerating
It may be possible to hit 19 psi in certain gears but either way it is a big improvement and I love it!

I have had very little time to use the car since installation but it is now clearer that the increased power makes it smoother and there is more torque. Together, this makes the car more immediately responsive.
In my case I have also detected improvements to the tiptronic changes, whether in manual<st1> </st1>or <st1></st1>tip<st1></st1>. It is so much better.
I hope to gain more findings in the future, but I can definitely say that I am very pleased with the improvements I have felt so far.
I am more and more convinced, so i can now update my friends with confidence.
PS, Dan, thanks again, and a reminder to mail me car detailing contacts to increase my distributors in the USA.
Thank you, and Happy New Year to all.

One of our customers in Michigan just flashed his Porsche 997 Turbo and sent us a photo of him doing the flash. Because of weather he has not had a chance to take it out, but he was more then happy to share the process with us. The customer was very suprised at how easy and quick it was to do the OBDII flash. Stay tuned for more feedback.
