Spoiler Lip painted or keep in black???
I did not mind this in black on the darker color. But I think the black is too much contrast on the white car. Do most of you get this painted? Does the park assist help consider how low it is, and it is most likely to hit those concrete block in the parking lot? Will it looks odd to have the side and back painted but leave the front in black? All thoughts are welcome—thanks

Thanks for the picture, you have side and back painted, but keep the front in black, right? If it is not a lot of trouble, can you send/post pics of front, side and back shots of your TT? I can find white images online, but they are either too small or beauty shot. — thanks.
+1 mine came with all sides painted. Front lip is now black. The paintable front lip is like $800 plus painting it and the standard black one is about $150. One nick and the paint will crack and chip on the front lip. If you do not lower the car you may be able to keep the painte dlip for a while until you have a stone chip.
mdc,
There are three kinds of scrape to the front lip:
a. The underside is scraped when going up steep slopes. First time it happens the sound will make you feel you want to jump off the bridge, but this is no big deal. You won't see much of the damage because it's underneath.
b. The front is damaged by road pebbles/debris. Happens when you drive fast or when you follow other cars too closely, or just happens period. There is nothing you can do about this, especially if you drive the car like the way it should be. :-)
c. Parking lot blocks: Yes. Tends to happen once then you won't do it again.
Park assist does absolutely NOTHING for this matter.
I think it's important to paint the side skirt and rear lip; as for the front, it's 50/50 and either way looks ok to my eyes. I believe some GT3, Corvette, and Acura NSX have this exact look (unpainted front lip only), and it looks ok.
FWIW, my front lip was initially un-painted, then later painted when I switched to Techart. I am ok with either.
Lastly, btw I agree with NOT painting the front air vent. Matter of taste but to my eyes a little too visible and too much when painted.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yap, I do not like the air vent painted in body color either. I am trying to decide if white is the best color, because there are too many grey Carrera around. But the small pieces of plastic on the rear panel(under the air scoop) turn yellow quickly.
