It really depends on what you are using the car for. If it is a DD, I would stick with the upgraded Sachs (SRE) clutch kit. We offer this setup for use with both the stock dual mass flywheel or with an aluminum flywheel. I have the Tilton Triple in my 997TT and it is amazing. It would be overkill for a DD and not recommended unless you need the holding force for more than 900 HP. There are many good options, it all depends on what you are looking for.

Well actually i do drive my car as a DD the reason is i just cant look at it and not drive it But i really do abuse the car in means racing every other or even every weekend and i'm considering power mods now and in the future so im looking for a clutch that will withstand abuse and more power. Can you elaborate more on your tilton clutch setup for your 997TT please, thanks.

Sachs rate their clutches in how much torque they can hold before slipping rather than hp (which is just a mathematical expression of torque anyway).
In Europe the kit below is what most people use, rated at 890NM, Sachs say there is a ~20% tolerance in there so maybe even up to 1000NM/735ftlbs which is good for most applications unless you are going really crazy !
I have this on my 7GT2, it feels exactly the same as stock, if anything it is a little smoother - a total no brainer rather than messing around with non OEM stuff IMO....

Good question. I fitted a LWFW to my 996TT and luv'd it. I do not DD my 997 GT2, but was also thinking towards a LWFW.

The Tilton setup is fantastic and I am running the same setup in my 997TT. Here are the Pro's and Con's as well as a link to the detailed information about this setup:

Pro's:
Can handle ~ 1700+Nm of TQ
Smooth clutch engagement / modulation
Very lightweight
Proven reliable

Con's:
~10,000 KM service intervals - Can rebuild up to 3 times
Shorter clutch engagement point
Louder transmission noise

The best clutch $$$ can buy.. Your right on target with pros and cons as well.. Some more Pros would be, the Hotter it gets the harder it grabs which is typical of Carbon Clutches.. Also, in a 1/4 mile car 60fts will improve by allowing the clutch to slip as it leaves the line..
