'07, '08, '09 question

I am pretty sure I know the answer but is there any difference at all between the 07-09 997tt's? I believe there is no difference in these years and that the '10 is the next change in HP and Tq. Any help appreciated as I will be looking to change this year.

The updated touch screen PCM w/XM, Bluetooth, etc is only on the '09. The '09 is also the last of the race-proven GT1 block. But any '07-'09 will give you about the same performance from stock, if that is where your questions lead.

If you can find a leftover '09 somewhere, I'd jump. In fact, that is precisely what I did while I still could find both the car optioned the way I wanted, AND the deal of a lifetime.

The headlamps were revised for '10 Turbos to provide the cornering lights that move with the steering wheel. These light first became available in the 992.2 facelift for non-Turbos ('09) and were part of the Turbo ('10) FL. Prior to that, they are bi-xenon for the Turbo.

Yes, first generation went from 3.0 260HP to 3.3 300HP after 2 model years.
Final production year (1989) first generation turbo got a 5 speed gearbox (G50)

Second generation (964) went from 3.3 320HP to 3.6 360HP in final production year.

996 turbo got improved dash after one model year (cupholders + PCMII)

To the OP, 2009 turbo got improved PTM (electronic fine tuning). More stability at the limit compared to 07/08.
