I switched back to stock springs and will go will coilovers and a mild drop of about 10mm. Most springs will drop your front by 1 - 1 1/2 inch or 25 - 35mm. I have my Champion springs for sale on ebay. I suggest you see the drop in person on somebody's car and even better get a ride.
This is almost my exact story, the H&R/Champs were great from a performance standpoint, maybe even better than the coil overs. As a practicle matter, they were not so good on the TT, the lowering was just enough to scrape everywhere (especially my driveway )
I also changed to the Bilsteins at a minimum drop, the ride is similar and the scraping is now virtually a non issue.

HRs DO sag overtime, so be careful. Only the gmg springs will not sag, they drop exactly 20mm, no more no less. I never scraped with those, now with the bilstein they seem to have settled and now I'm scraping all over
