Turbo S
Turbo S
I was headed to CT last night and ended up running with a 911 Turbo S (with NY plates) through much of NJ. It had the yellow calipers and the Turbo S badge on the rear. The car looked pretty sharp and seemed fairly quick. We stopped for gas together in NJ and only chatted for a brief second, but the owner said it was imported.
I knew Porsche made some Turbo "S" cars back in the 993 days, but I didn't realize they brought it back more recently. I assume this car was a 997 (I'm not completely up to date on the newer P cars), so what's different on the newer Turbo S?

I don't think it was a 993, it had the slits in the rear bumper. It must have been a 996 since it obviously wasn't a 997.
Thanks again guys, I posted this over in the 996 area where it belongs.
