since almost every option is included on the car, i cannot imagine the car going much higher than msrp....

So wouldnt this end up being cheaper than buying a fully loaded regular turbo?

After owning 26 turbo Porsches since 1976 and now with a 2008 GT2 I finally have to admit these Porsches are WAY OVER priced. I give up!

Yes, and you get 530hp all the time. The car is still VERY expensive though.

no

the way I calculate is around 5-10k for the S's additional HP. They said all the performance options. Not all the basic options.

Regardless ... sounds like a decent deal.

not exactly true. my incoming cab has about about $10k of options that are not included in the S (at least i don't believe so, will have to see what is standard on the S). for example, painted side skirts, heated front seats, bluetooth, park assist, xm radio, audio interface, painted spoiler lip, door sills, additional leather (center console, door finishers, gear selector, etc), handbrake, deviated stitching (assuming you don't go with the ugly 2 tone on the S). if i went with the S, it would be north of $180k - that's crazy. The S is really not a lot more than a fully optioned turbo. but if one is going to get a VERY fully optioned turbo, then yes, the S makes sense.
