Outlets not working??

Hi,
it may be a stupid question, but I have 3 power outlets in the car, the cigarette lighter, one in the armrest and one in the passenger foot compartment. For charging my cell only the cigarette outlets works. Is that normal or am I missing something here?

THX

same here. I checked the fuse and it's good. Don't know what else to check. The one in the footwell on mine doesn't work.

The fuse for the footwell is a different amp, notorious for blowing.

according the fuse diagram, there's only 1 fuse that corresponds to both 12v outlets. it's located on the first row...I believe it's fuse #8 (7.5v).

I noticed the same on my non-turbo 997.1, the one on the footwell and in the mid console don't work. Will check on fuses. Hopefully I will have a spare to use.

Has to be the fuses. I had the same. Used a volt meter to test zero power. Pulled the fuse panel and found the fuses were missing.

I know the footwell plug has less voltage. Plugged a tire pump in that and it instantly blew. Cigarette lighter is 12v

Maybe this will help....At least to identify all your fuse operations.

Good luck,
DC

PS...Depending on what you are plugging in to determine it has no power?? Some of the Cig plug adapters have an old glass tube fuse built in and they blow quickly...Just a thought.
