I thought I would share the creative works of DCT Motorsports and what they do with OEM steering wheels. I recently found these guys and hooked up with them to make me a custom wheel for our Project 997TT. They basically do a core exchange program and build custom wheels. From the drawing below, the one in our 997TT will be pretty sick! Alcantara, preforated leather at 3 and 9 o’clock, red stripe at top dead center, and a flat bottom. To add some more flavor, they are doing the part below the factory airbag in carbon fiber! Stay tuned to our Project Car section where we will do a full install and write up on this upgrade soon.


Vivid Racing will also be carrying these steering wheel upgrades for Audi, Mercedes, BMW, and all other Porsche Cayman, Boxster, Cayenne, and 911.

They are able to get the leather colors. Pictures help though so they can match it better.

They have the Porsche OEM Terracotta in stock, enough for 1 wheel at the moment.
