Bought myself a 997 turbo 700EVT modded!

Hello Guys,
Just a reader on this forum for weeks now, I can finally call myself a member after selling my E63. Its my first Porsche 08 TT less than 9k mi, was love in first sight not even a test drive, bought it blind & did not look back. Drove down from Dallas to LA straight road trip. I never ever drove something special as this ride, I know what they mean by drivers car now! I got lucky with all the upgrades done to the car by EVO! Suspension is a bit to aggressive & stiff for me (Moton's) will sell or trade later. I am so exited to own my dream car this Fast Beast!

Congrats! Last year I made the same Dallas to LA drive only stopping for gas as well, but in a CL63. Upgraded to the 997tt.

First off, welcome to 6speed and congratulations on a beautiful car. The wheels and body color are a great match, and the EVOMS setup is incredible.

Before you swap out the suspension, you can consider changing springs and having a suspension shop tune your settings for street driving. Moton's and JRZ's are considered the gold standard in suspension - changing them out seems like a shame.

Again, welcome! Enjoy the car.

Guys, I heard Moton's are the best out there for track use, but these are single adjustable rebound only and height no damper adjustment with H&R spring, I had them raise up a bit around, but those beautiful 20" make it harsh a bit too. I was thinking of PSS10. That is the only thing I would change.

I have to agree with Bob on this one. For what you will pay for PSS10's and the install, you could change springs and have the shocks re-valved and still come out ahead money wise and suspension wise. I have Motons on my car and when they are dialed back the street ride is quite good.

I am 5 miles from them. Blinked, and the car was gone.

That was a long drive. I hope your butt hurt a little when you arrived home.

Mine still does.

GRATS!!!
