Anyone tried Remus exhaust or Fabspeed intake?

I have a Fabspeed intake installed. You can really hear the air getting sucked in.

How far are you looking to mod your 997TT? If you are looking for better air flow from the intake, just change the filter to a BMC, or get larger intake pipes from 9ff, TechArt or EVOMs. The rate limiting step is the diameter of the tubing. Or you could go MAF less and use under fender intakes.
If you are looking to keep the IATs cool, the cold air intakes aren't going to be nearly as effective as upgrading the intercoolers.

I remember back with my vettes, camaros, mustangs, that removing the stock filter to one of these open filters almost gave too much noise on acceleration. Is that the case with these turbos if muffler is stock??
And too, any problems with the installation?

Looking at the two small filters on Fabspeed webpage, one would suppose the air intake siound is considerably louder, but is it too much for inside the cabin comfort?? From the Fabspeed webpage, tough to tell on the air sucking noise level because of the loud mufflers on their demonstration turbo.

I plan on doing just filter+ECU+exhaust...I like the way fabspeed intake looks and it should operate good...Did you see any throttle response difference? Also for exhausts I am between Remus race one (with 55% less back pressure than OEM,same % as it was on my 996TT) and Milltek with 100cell in order to gain as much but staying legal...Anyone tried these exhausts?

I had a 997 tt 2007 and I had remus exhaust race type on it for only2k miles then I traded in the car for 997.2 tt 2010, I have to say the exhaust note was enough for me not loud it was just right and with the fabspeed intake much better throttle response the car was perfect I tried to install them on the new tt but they won't fit.

If you dont want drone then EP1 is safest bet imo. I just got mine delivered and will be fitting it very soon . Minimal drone will eventually wear you down if its a DD . I'm changing a high end tubi with minimal drone. May be fine for a toy but a DD...no way. I love loud but boom...no thanks. Tip is in that zone more than stick too .

Have not heard or seen the Remus system in person for the 997tt and 996tt's, but I do know they have always built quality products.
I don't believe an instake system is necessary for these cars. Other than a difference in sound, I don't believe there is a real performance difference.
