Brake pads with less dust!

Hey guys,

My 997TT will be primarily used on the street and I am looking for a brake pad with less dust. I typically put Hawk pads on the Viper but Hawk only appears to make fronts for the Porsche? Mintex doesn't seem to have them for the Turbo. I read on here about Carbotec pads...anyone have success with those? I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance

-Brian

I'm guessing the PCCB's are not in the running? Expensive, but no dust.

I love my PCCBs. Forget the stopping prowess, the no dust thing is AWESOME.

You can get Hawks for the front and rear... only you have to get them custom made... There is a company called Porterfield out in California that made me a set of Hawk HPS pads for all around.. The front are original from Hawk, and the rear are original pads with a custom cut backplate. The company is great to deal with and ship really fast. -Showking

Showking - how long have you been using these? Any noise? Same stopping power or better?

So big difference in brake dust? Not as much anymore compared to stock pads? Thanks.

Awesome info....thanks Showking. I'll be giving them a call. I used Hawk HPS pads on my Viper and there was a HUGE reduction in dust...well worth the switchover.
