My 997.1 rubber/felt trip around the sun roof is loose, I can push it up into the tongue in groove, but then it comes loose. Is there a std appropriate adhesive that I could fix this with, or take it to the dealer (its still under warranty).

Anyone else have this issue?

 

Under warranty I would take it to the dealer and have him replace the whole thing instead of just re-fixing it.

 

If you still have warranty then to dealer for sure . I recall the ongoing issues with my 997C2S S/Roof....egads!! Thankfully my 997tt is perfect in the SR (so far). Having experienced previous issues in this area i definately wouldnt screw around trying to fix it yourself...it may well be a sign of more to come so best to keep your hands clear . Let their hands do the work..

 

Same thing happened to me last year (car was 3 months old at the time). Had it repaired under warranty.
