vacuum tap for exhaust

vacuum tap for exhaust

has any body installed a valved exhaust, because i need to find where is the place to tap on to the engine vacuum. I see one point on the intake , but not sure ? any pics would be great

Surely the guys who sold you this can help you out??

I hate to say this to you cgng30 but thats exactly why this time round i went for the EP and i am all smiles i did . They are a given quantity and supply absolutely everything (yep even those special bendy spanners too....i've got lots of them now) and any instruction you want with a smile .
I'd put the wood to whoever supplied you this and get the precise install for it. You shouldnt have to be left guessing .

i hope this helps but this is the area where my techart exhaust gets the vacume fron near that black piece where its marked

Surely there is a vacuum line you can tap into with a T-fitting?

tap into nearly any vacuum line, its pretty simple.

thanks thats what i was thinking, and thats what the dealer sent a picture but was blury. the question in have is where exactly is your tap, there is in line device on the vacuum with a electrical conn and there is another valve in line, is the tap behind those devices. thanks again

yes theres a vacume line there and techart uses a splitter hose to split the line and it goes to the valves
