Will a Gt2 wing fit on a Turbo cab?

As per the title really.

Will a 997 Gt2 rear wing and bootlid fit on a 997 Turbo Cab and not interfear with the roof opening or is it not possible due to the rear scuttle panel hitting it when opening?

Thanks in advance

I asked about fitting the GT2 wing to my coupe and was told it would fit but the GT2 air intake doesn't line up with the TT airbox. I seem to recall there were some other small parts that would be required.

I decided to go with the aero kit instead. Of course now I trying to fit the GT2 rear bumper on my TT, which is an even bigger PITA.

I was going to get the GT2 wing until I found out that it'd have cost $12,000 to get all the parts needed. Forget that!

MA Shaw however offers a GT2 wing alternative that will fit just fine. You'd have to get the ECU reprogrammed so that it doesn't look for the OEM wing and shoot off error codes.

Damn, I don't remember it costing that much!

Turning off the wing motor is a simple step with PIWIS. You only have to do this if you don't want the wing going up and down...or it can't go up and down. The dealer did this when I had the fixed aero wing installed. Some guys have it turned off after they raise the wing and just leave it there.

My guess is the the GT2 wing is a LOT more expensive than the Turbo aero wing because of the CF trim on the edge. That plus a bunch of other things I'd have needed to get.

How much did the aerokit wing cost and can you buy that as a separate item without the front air dam?
