Turbo S delay again!!!!!

Well this journey started in Dec of last year. Now today I get another set back. Ice Blue. Is delayed until Oct. At earliest and could be as late as Dec.. So I could be looking at a Jan delve. Wow. It must be a Ferrari in sheep skin

Dealer offer me to change color and get a July Delve. Was set on Ice Blue with black blue int. And carbon firber int. I really thought that would look cool. My next fav. Color is Ruby Red. With Cococa leather just not sure if carbon fiber would be a no no with that color.

Anyone ever seen Cococa with carbon??? Anyone have any thoughts.

Time to think What am I going to do. Starting to thing Turbo S may have a curse on me LOL.

Thanks was what I was thinking. I would love to see photos can't never tell what a crazy person may like may have to go back to leather int. If I do change. Really swaying on this one on one hand I might regret not getting Ice Blue. Door two really will be hard to wait with guys starting to get their cars that will be hard part.

Is paint to sample an option? And if yes, would it save you any time to pick a different blue? If not, I think I would just wait it out. What's a few extra months in late fall and over the winter anyway? The Ice Blue, blue/black interior and carbon fiber will be spectacular.

I personally don't think carbon w/ cocoa is a great combo. No offence to the owner of the car in the pic. Cocoa is a quite nice colour on its own. Maybe w/ a little touch of alu (the alu PDK gear selector and handbrake lever, door sill) will be even better, but definitely not carbon.
And if you do go with cocoa, remember to opt for the leather roofing and leather sun visor as well. Otherwise they will be in black and won't match with rest of the car. I had once considered having cocoa in my turbo s, but finally decided to go for natural dark grey w/ carbon after I saw this combo in person.
Good luck with your car , its your choice at last.

This is the best shot on a cocoa IMO

Grab something else. The Ice Blue is a nice colour but not so much better than the rest of the range to justify waiting. Life's too short!

I had the same issue, chose GT Silver with natural leather instead. My S is on a boat crossing the Atlantic as we speak. Since according to the mortality tables I have more days behind me than ahead of me, I chose not to wait. A summer is a terrible thing to waste waiting.

why not ruby red with black interior? Otherwise, my vote it to wait. You've waited this long....

Not to keen on all black int. Here in Memphis since the blue was in main part of seat thought that would help with hot Memphis summer time. I have never owned a black car in my life Int or Ext. Think black looks hot. But to fearful that black would get hot on fanny.

Going to sleep on it Have to give dealer awnser in morn. If I want to change colors and jump on July build. Really don't want to give up CF so I am leaning toward staying with Ice Blue. But some of the photos I have looked at in Ruby Red may be hard to forget.

Wife's vote is to wait but told me your car get what you want but don't complain if it's not right.

Think I will go to bed.

I have black interior and my fanny isn't hot and I live in middle of SC where it's so hot! I have the seat ventilation and it really isn't hot at all. Cocoa would probably be just the same. But, I would wait and get what you want!

Decided to wait it out. Did decide to skip sport seats (too fat anyway) and go for seat ventilation. So the wait continues at least I can hear
stories from other Turbo S owners . The bad part is I will order the Wife a Cayenne in a few weeks she will get her car couple months quicker than I now that is BS But may get lucky and car come in earlier than Jan now that would be nice.

I have ruby red with black interior and white stitching. I love it. Gets lots of compliments. Tough decision. I guess it comes down to how much more you like ice blue. I had an sll55 in diamond silver, which was like ice blue. Loved the idea, but not as much after I took delivery. I think it's a little feminine.

I personally think the Cocoa interior looks best in Cream White

Wont do much for the colors you selected though.. The Alu looks better then the CF.
