New wing, is there a way to keep it permanently raised?

So I just got a new wing and the lower portion of it is wayyy too close to the paint. Also I don't like the look of it when it's down. Is there any way to make it so that I don't have to press the button to raise it every time I get in the car? I know it's hydraulics but is there anyone who has figured out a way to keep it raised all the time? Maybe some viagra in my gas tank? Seriously though, any help would be appreciated.

I think there is indeed a way. Others will correct me if I'm wrong, but you need someone with PIWIS tool.
Raise the wing and with PIWIS, de-activate the lifting mechanism in raised position. You're done.

I'm beginning to wonder if some of these people are plugged into 6speed 24/7.

You local dealer can turn the hydraulic function off very easily while in the raised position.

Try this: raise the wing and take off the wing fuse from the fuse box. This trick worked in my Boxster S but i don't know if it works in the turbo.

That will probably throw a code. Dealer (or any shop) with a PIWIS can do it. It probably takes all of 5 minutes but you'll likely be charged a full hour of labor.

you know that the wing actually serves a meaningful purpose?
There's a reason downforce is increased at speed.

Is it worth hurting the handling for barely noticeable aesthetics?

He wants to keep the wing raised the whole time so downforce at high speed shouldn't be a problem.
Would be different if he wants to keep it down.

Does it harm the hydraulics to have the wing raised all the time?

It shouldn't. Probably more harmful (but really not at all) when the wing is going up and down rather than staying up all the time.
