My New Switzer R911 Turbo
I have posted my journey from ownership of Sledgehammer to the amazing 911 Turbo 997.2 PDK back to this 997.1 with a full Switzer R911 package. Here are the latest pics of this bad boy and a dyno sheet of a previous R911 car tuned on race gas. Once Tym puts the pump gas tune on her, I will post that dyno sheet as well along with the latest pictures after the clear bra and tinted windows are installed. I can't wait to cruise in this one...

How much boost on that ran?
Yeah they are 6" cores, we have been running them for years now. You can trim the upper IC duct but we found only a 2-4* difference in IAT temps with it in versus out (hotter with it out, but very negligible gains). Other than that they fit rather well.
I'm sure we got some logs somewhere, if I could find them I would send them to you, but they really are worth nothing in comparison to anything else you would find. I could go on and on about testing IC's but it would detract from Les' awesome thread about his new beast, so if we have to, let's take it somewhere else.
Intake system utilizes our billet Y pipe, monster IC's, silicone hose couplings, fenderwell intake filters, other than that nothing much, all stock. No fancy intake manifolds, no water/methanol injection.
It is like sledgehammer, just with about 200 less hp (race fuel vs. race fuel), and tuning via DME instead of standalone EMS.

I would love to see both cars go from a 60 roll. Tym knows I'll be the 2nd driver.

I think you should only sell the R911. Its a simple bolt-on package that should be the standard every car in the shop gets. It's just up to the customer if they want to turn the boost up or not!!!
200hp less? They were of course dyno'd on different dynos/different days, but that seems like a lot?

Thank you, and the drivability is just like stock. It sounds killer with the Switzer exhaust, even at idle.
Thanks! I cant wait to get her rolling!
Thanks. I think that it will be perfect for me, and of course there is always some one faster, but I should be in the hunt most of the time. I just have to be careful locally, against another Switzer built car. The GTR that Jamie owns. That thing is a monster!
Picked her up today and all I have to say is this car is amazing on the pump setting. The drivability is like stock, the car gets into power and boost lightening quick and loves to pull to just about 7K rpms. I have to say that I want to get use to this setting and driving a 6speed again until I try the race gas setting. The suspension is tight on the KWV3's, great set up Senior! The R888's do a great job keeping this car planted and on the Tech 1 wheels just feel and look perfect. I forgot how intense the PCCB's are and stops this bad boy on a dime. Thanks again team Switzer and now the subtle exterior enhancements next week. Should be perfect for me when I am done! I will get some fresh pics up tomm after a nice Saturday bath.
Thanks! So here are some pics after a fresh wash. I am shocked how nice this 07 paint has held up...albeit it only has 5k miles and has been in the shop for a while, but still impressed. Now onto the interior. I will get some evening pics up of the exterior and interior tonight. Here are a couple for now.
Thank you. Once I get some time to go and cruise a while I will do a detailed write up. Here are alot of pics from today after the bath.
