2011 Turbo S European Delivery

So I just got back yesterday from Stuttgart and an amazing journey in Europe after picking up a new Turbo S cab from the factory. I had never driven a Porsche before until my mother (out of all people) got a Panamara. I instantly fell in love with the cars and ordered a Turbo S cab.

I drove 2,072 miles across Europe going from Stuttgart to Amsterdam, stopping at the Nurburgring, coming back down through Munich and Switzerland to Monte Carlo and Nice. A journey that I will never forget. I will never buy another European car again without doing the European delivery. It was worth every second!

The Nurburgring was incredible. Lap times---were not important. I was more concerned about brining my car back to America! I left the mini coopers pass me all day long. It is amazing how well this car drivers on the track. All the reviews are so true.

Top speed on the autobahn-- 176 MPH.

Aqua blue with black interior and speed yellow deviated stitching and seat belts. Added carbon fiber accents.

Congrats on a beautiful Turbo S, there is nothing like deviated stitching, especially in yellow.

Beautifull car and scenery, well... breath taking. This is the third 2011 TS I have seen with Ceramic brakes. PCCBs are now standard on Turbos or everyone got them as an option sofar? Did you use an external GPS?

Turbo S come standard with PCCBs but I was under the impression that they also came with the center lock wheels as standard too. And look at the pictures, he did use an external GPS.

And yes, I do agree that there's nothing quite like driving in Europe! It's an incredible experience driving throughout Europe! I topped out a Turbo at 187 mph on the Autobahn back in 2006 before they were released.

Jason, one of the other guys here told me you could opt for the standard wheels on the Turbo S.

IMHO, the centerlock wheels look better but that's my opinion. Thanks for clarifying that, Bobby.

Beautiful car and sounds like a GREAT trip! Nothing like a day on the autobahn plus a few trips around the "Ring!"
