After 6 months of searching...

I am about to go and take delivery of my new 08 GT Silver TT Coupe (stick) with 8,500 miles on it.

I have been searching for 6 months and have come close to purchasing a TT on numerous occasions. Some were crazy good deals that made me wonder if I made the right decision to pass or not. However, after finding this car, I now know I made the right decision.

This is not a CPO'd car (will buy aftermarket warranty) but is optioned out with a MSRP of $151K. Some key options include:

Painted front, rear, side
adaptive sport seats
deviated carpets
two tone interior leather
carbon fiber package, including illuminated carbon door sill
aluminum pcm, rear of front seats, seat belt pillars, steering wheel Y, etc
silver seat belt
Porsche crested head rests and storage
and lots of other aluminum colored goodies in the interior

NOW this car was also moded which made me wonder if it was smart to buy or not. These are the mods:

GMG exhaust
Eibach Springs
Wheel spacers

How long do the aftermarket springs last? The dealer said they will last forever but coming from an M3 where the springs didn't last as long as the stock springs, I knew that was a fib. Should I be worried in the long run for any of these mods?

These are all mods I planned on doing within a month of the purchase of the car but all came on the car already.

Purchase price was $97K NOT inc. tax etc.

Now I said I've been searching for quite some time and know what these cars are going for. I know the price is a little high but to find one this optioned out with everything I want in it, I couldn't pass on this car. Basically, if I were to spec a brand new car out...this is what I'd spec out.

Here's some pics

Looks great, the Eilbach springs are the same as the GMG versions and will last a long time and never sag. Enjoy.
How's that exhaust sound?

Thanks for the info! The exhaust sounds great. I'll post pics and clips of the exhaust soon. The stock exhaust was far too quite for my tastes. I had a Meisterschaft exhaust on my E93 M3 which was LOUD in a good way.

Wow - that's an impressive list. I am a huge fan of GT Silver and agree with your thoughts of paying up a bit for EXACTLY what you want vs. trying to grind out every last cent for a deal and maybe missing out.
Enjoy the car and be sure to post up some more pics (especially interior with those options).

Congrats! I just picked up a TT myself after searching for several months.

If you got the car you want at the price you think was fair that's all that matters

The stock exhaust sucks so you should be happy it was switched up. I think springs to give the car a tasteful drop with spacers that improve the stance are fairly minor and I wouldn't worry.

There is an online VIN lookup tool here somewhere, I used it to find out my car was ordered with a locking diff which was nice (thought it was standard).

Nice find! Great optioned car. I did the same thing-looked for several months and found a mint condition 2007 GT Silver/Black Turbo with 1800 miles, orig sticker over 140K. These rare finds are out there for sale but it takes some patience and effort to score a great one like you did. Enjoy the awesome power of this beast!
