OEM Ported Ceramic Headers or Agency Power?

Hey guys

I have 2 sets of headers at home - which do you think would be better to install? Pros/Cons

1. Agency Power Headers - deeper tone but lose low end torque? More power on the high end?

or

2. OEM Headers Slightly Ported and Polished with Ceramic Coating on exterior - Quicker Spool up and less lag?

My current mods are FVD flash, IPD plenum, AP BRVs, BMC Filter and an OEM modified exhaust (catless).

Any advice appreciated. TIA

Length of tubes, diameter, collector, harmonics...all will play into the effectiveness of headers. If you have a dyno nearby, I'd run them both and see how the graphs look.

Keep in mind that the larger the turbos you ve got,the larger the length of the header pipes should be to minimize lag...

Leaning towards the stock ported/polished/coated oem headers as I know I won't lose torque and it should give me less lag or quicker turbo spool....that's the theory anyways...

....but I think the Agency Power headers will give my car a deeper tone....which I really want...

I want both!!

Stock. while the sound of the stock system may be questionable, most don't realize how good the stock system is. Had some very interesting discussions about this with Mike Levitas at TPC Racing.

Stock, no cracks and maintains warranty if you care about that. If you want a deeper tone change your exhaust.

Headers

When your car does not operate properly- do you add more chrome or fix it? So, stock headers for performance or aftermarket because it sounds cool ? There are a lot of P "sleepers" out there that are truly taking advange of custom looks and sound in the performance dept. I have seen quite a few standing proudly by there visual/audible P cars get smoked by a unassuming stock appearing sleeper- a wolf in sheeps clothes. Its not a trophy its a P car. Intellect/ Emotion= Sound Decisions

Actually testing the Agency Power headers on the dyno, they made improvements in the low end torque as they do top end.

He talked me into leaving the stock system on too (money better spent on chassis/suspension) ... though I still covet that 70mm Europipe ....

Mike's advice has been flawless.
