Don't know about Turbo S guys but I got my turbo with the paddles.

It's the only way to go IMHO if for nothing else but the feel while driving.

High quality metal (Alu I think) items, not cheap plasticky stuff.

Paddles vs Switches

Go with the paddles, much nicer to use over the switches. The only reason someone would go with switches would be if they wanted the heated steering wheel, apparently Porsche can't figure out a way to heat a paddle equipped wheel.... (this is according to the configurator at least)

Turbo S comes with paddles IMO that the only way you should order.

If you need more multi functions order voice control. Good Luck

You also cannot get a carbon fiber steering wheel with the paddle shifters....

My "S" has paddles and I prefer them over the buttons (which I've driven in a demo car) because it's always clear what you're doing- not inadvertently pressing a button while in hard steering, etc. I can't wait for someone to release aftermarket paddles in carbon ceramic so I stop getting heat blisters on my fingers (the ceramic is like the Space Shuttle and insulates the finger tips from the heat! I read that on the internet!)

You would think that Porsche would figure some things out. Why you cannot get the paddles on a heated or multifunction wheel are beyond me. And not to change the subject why was Ice Blue Metallic available months after the S was released? I mean come on man. I don't get it; someone explain it to me por favor.

Get the paddles. With the buttons, I felt no desire to use manual mode. I think the paddles look better and if I'm not mistaken, the paddles give you the steering wheel that has the Sport, Sport Plus, and Launch lights on it.

I'm sure that DCT or TechArt can solve that problem.

paddles

I recently trade cars with my buddy and he had switches, go with the paddles! the switches (my opinion) are awkward!
