You can flash back to 91Oct if and when you want to.
In am emergency you can run 91Oct on the E85 tune, Todd widens the O2 sensor range to 40% from 20%.
Talk to him and he can tell you more.

I have it in my generator, my track scooter and have even tried it in a minibike.. its as good as it gets.. just taking some markets longer to catch on then others.. We have been running 8s with since 2008 in an Evo.. so far proven to support 225hp/cyl.. thats 1350 in a porsche..

Mike wait a sec... i just want to be very clear..obviously you dont have some kinda tuning mojo and bigger pumps and injectors in your scooter mini bike or generator... are you saying that .. i can just use e 85 and retuning is not needed at current boost levels??.. have you ever used it in a car that has not been tuned for it?? does anyone use this in the motorcycle world?? sorry for all the questions but this is just the convo ive been meaning to have with someone in "the know"... and im very excited about it... thanks for the info

All motor machines can many times support E85.. We have a 997 GT3 making 430whp with nothing but E85 poured in and a change in mapping.. The car has over 10k miles by now of nothing but abuse.. Track days, street races, mile runs etc..
Boosted machines almost always need larger injector and pump but again it comes down to can the stock setup support the need for 30% more fuel.. most cases you always need more injector for vehicle on boost..
Funny you ask about the motorcycle world.. My 1507cc hayabusa landspeed bike is running E85 as well.. We have 440cc injectors, and bosch pump and its hauling ***.. 223mph in a mile all motor..

Mike
E85 is 15% pump gas.. Mixing with 93 wont do anything but dilute the fuel to EXX which is whatever you add to it to cut 85% ethanol to less concentrated.. storing it can be done but in metal lined containers and no more than 45 days is what we recommend..
wow... awesome info... so some posts back someone noted that the milage he was getting seemed to be the same.. shouldnt he have 30% worse milage on e 85 ??.. if i was to fill half my tank on a 07 jeep liberty with the e 85 what would happen?? ( please say nothing ) lol
Mike
ok so basically you need a 30% fueling overhead at least... so do you believe the vid of the tahoe running e 85 with no issues?.. would you not try or suggest running e 85 in a car with no map change? im considering filling the jeep.. if the half and half test goes well... and if that goes well why wouldnt someone run it in all stock vehicles even a porsche??... i fully understand to enjoy all of the benifits a re tune is needed.. and i will be doing that... but im curious if it wasent retuned would it still run as normal on e 85?
... and besides maybe i have a gt42r on my jeep lol just kidding

many of the factory ecus will adjust as long as they can within that range.. No reason to run it in a tahoe since the gas mileage worsens.. I dont even understand who would buy a flex fuel vehicle except for someone who just wants to go green.. id run 87 in my tahoe.. but sure ill bet you can run e85 in a stock tahoe for sure..
If you put e85 in your jeep and it's not a flex fuel vehicle, you will likely get a cel. The stoichiometry ratio for e85 is something like 9.7 compared to 14.7 for regular gas. This means you need to pump in more fuel per unit air. Your jeep is likely not equipped to handle that dramatic of a change.
