spark plugs for moded porsche

guys

I have bought these spark plugs

denso ik22

do you recommend it for high boost ??

do i need to gap them ?? or the gap is fine

I had them on my 996TT with 575AWHP...they worked fine but needed change almost every 15kmiles to perform their best under 1,4bar of boost...

I have them on mine less then 1k miles on them.
I have seen threads that say gap them to .025 and others that say no need to gap as they are pre gapped.
Who is your tuner?
Todd/Protomotive does not recommend them.

did todd tell you what kind of plugs he use for upgraded turbos ??

great info thanks for sharing

but why other tuners use another kinds of plugs ???

BTW am useing the factroy plugs but never regap them ... i felt the car dies after 4th gear shift

I have them in mine. Installed at 30k miles. I have used them before in another car where in the cold the car would have to be pretty rich at idle for it to idle smooth. In the cold NE climate I will get an occasional CEL for the ecu richening the car up at idle. It will normally clear itself or I would do it with my cable.

If Todd at proto says to gap down OE plugs... I will just gap down OE plugs nxt time.

The NGK equivalent of stock number 2667 of BKR7EIX is also recomended and used in many of the high HP cars. The Denso also works well.
