I am actually willing to sacrifice "some" performance just to keep the current setup... at this point I am trying to figure out what that "some" is.
The EP system is so efficient with EXTREMELY low back pressure and 100 cel cats that probably the only system to better that would be straight pipes...and you probably won't want to live with that.

AWD is going to do some 65mm VTG's for me in a couple of weeks and I run the EP L2 system. I wouldn't consider changing it to MAYBE gain a few horsepower. The car will be strong enough for the street and I'm not looking to put it on the dragstrip or get into a PBox speed pissing contest.

Hear-yea, hear-yea:
All those wanting to run cat-less legally, move on over to Kuwait

Chris, on a serious note though:
If we alter an EP exhaust by removing the EP cats and adding EP cat bypass pipes if Stef were to make such a thing, and if the turbos installed in the car required such flow, then what would be the problem with doing that?

I would not want to run straight pipes either. I would gladly rather sacrifice a bit of power as opposed to sacrificing my hearing/sanity!

For a recent similar discussion, click here and view Stephen Kaspar's exhaust shootout. It compares different exhausts including straightpipes. Interpretation of these results vary. Imo, unless your going for absolute top end performance where the flow is greatest, you've got a great exhaust and no reason to change for your typical usage.
