this question may be too general but maybe someone has had similar issue.... i have an 07 997 tt 6 speed with APR tune and exhaust... after driving car for 10-15 mins when i get on it, mostly in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears it literally feels like its running on bad gas.... feels like bad spark plug... i just had the plugs changed and of course the dealer doesnt feel it and tells me that no codes come up...?? Not only can i feel it but also see it in the rpms as they go up.... any thoughts??

 

is the car producing low boost? what did the dealer gap the plugs to?

 

Boost goes to 15 every time.... not sure what the plugs r gapped at....

 

Plugs need to be gapped down to handle higher boost else spark is blow off.

 

What have you been feeding her??

always happens after it warms up.... if i drive it hard within the first ten minutes or so it drives fine...

 

also happens in stock mode...

was going to bring it to elite this wk... theyre the only guys around that deal with APR from whaT i can gather...

 

Try put in some high octane gas and see if it improves. I would not suggest you to drive the car hard within the first 10 minutes of a cold start; I always give my car time for the oil to warm up to 175F before I give it any boost.

Apr know what's up, doubt it's the tune. I'd venture a guess it's time for a new clutch. With a flash and exhaust I needed one myself.

1st thru 2nd it was fine, 3 on up it slipped....food for thought.

 

That's something you can usually tell by rising rpms without going faster.

If it ran fine before the plug change and now it runs bad, the first place to look is at the plugs.

 

I would look at the plugs again. It's probably gapped too high for a tuned car.
