Cost to Replace Center Console

Any ideas as to the cost of replacing the center console (where the parking brake is)? My guess is that I could replace it myself so I'm just looking for ther part cost.

I may have found a suitable car but it has a strangely painted center console. I'd have to replace that.

Once you look at the prices, you might find it less expensive to have someone like Eric at Bumperplugs repaint for you. Look at the exploded parts diagram - there are a lot of component parts - not sure which one(s) you're looking for.

Plastic? Com'on...it's a Porsche.

As for swapping...pretty reasonable DIY.

I could possibly be the only guy in the world who doesn't have an appreciation for carbon fiber. Nonetheless, I agree that plastic doesn't fit the P cars. A black-dyed walnut burl veneer would fit me much better. I have a guy who could do that using the factory parts. Hmmm....

You are asking about replacing the console on a suitable car that you may want to purchase. When I asked about the rest of the interior, surely you must realize that I'm asking about the interior is like ON THAT PARTICULAR CAR.

No. Actually you wrote "What is the rest of your interior like?"

I simply wanted to be clear that I do not own a TT yet but instead I get bashed. Just forget it. Close the thread.

First thread I've read on my daily visit to 6speed, had me splitting my coffee on my computer screen. That is why I love this place.
