Awesome info Venkat! Thanks for sharing! My flow peaks about 30 lbs/min/turbo which is about what these are rated. These puppies start to choke up around 5500+.

Your car on stock turbos, right?

Well we finally have the turbine specs, which have been a mystery.

I have the early Proto vtg upgrade which consists of 63.5 mm compressor wheel and clipped turbine but stock otherwise. Good job on getting the specs!

Is it possible your tune isn't using the turbos to their full potential? If the stock turbos can flow 32 lb/min and yours are upgraded you should be able to flow a lot more right?

I don't think so because my tune generates 1.5-1.6 bar of boost. The MAF and compressor flow are not exactly the same but not totally unrelated either which allows for some interesting comparisons. I'm sure BW bench tests their flows. Anyhow, you have to look at a compressor map to compare compressor efficiencies (which if Venkat could get his hands on one that would be a real coup ) but I believe its the trubine that limits flow in my set-up. The gt2 turbine side is larger so it can flow more air barring any other restrictions.

For anyone interested, I just had my vgt's upgraded to 65mm billets and during that process I had my bearing and shaft replaced as well.
