PPI recommendations in Long Beach, CA?

Hey folks I am looking at possibly purchasing a 2007 Porsche 997 turbo that is at a P-car dealership in the Long Beach area. Car has warranty I believe through May 2011, 12k miles, one-owner, 6MT. I am thinking getting a PPI would be a good bet, but not sure if I should have the service department at this very dealership do it or have someone else perform the PPI?

Also, I have the option of getting the car CPO'd and am wondering how many of you would pay to have it CPO'd? Also, how much are we looking at for CPO? I would greatly appreciate some feedback on this! Thanks in advance.
