I'm still amazed at these 997.2 Turbos.

 

997.2 PDKs sure are fast, but don't let 997slover's car be the performance standard measurement for a tuned PDK. His car somehow gets around 135 mph trapping, 700 BHP GTR's, puts bus lenghts on 500 rwhp Z06's that trap 130, and outruns Ferrari 458s as if they were in the wrong gear with a few cylinders out of order. I think he just might have the fastest PDK in existence, with a possibly engine swap of a GT2RS.

the datasheet from 997 TT PDK 2010 are:
stock: 500 Hp/710 Nm
tuned: 551 Hp/800 Nm

these gains were just with pure software, no mechanical parts exchange!!!

Your car has to be making more than 550whp if you're walking a 570whp Corvette. Impressive car. There is a difference between Nitro(methane) and Nitrous Oxide though. He's running a 100 shot of Nitrous, not Nitro .

He does gain quite a bit on the shifts, PDK is cool. On the topic of horsepower vs. torque, engines don't make horsepower - they make torque. Some crazy guy named James Watt decided a long time ago that 764 watts was equal to 1 horsepower, and the marketing folks took over from there.

That old saying is somewhat misleading though, I think a better way to put it is having a wide flat torque curve wins races. If you're racing in a straight line on the highway, you want all the horsepower you can get.

 

in my opinion my Turbo PDK 550hps vs Z06 570hps NO NITRO the big difference for Turbo is the DCT of PDK GEAR BOX, it´s very very fast compared with Z06 manual GEAR BOX!!!

in this new video Turbo PDK vs Z06 570hps + 100hps NITRO vs Turbo PDK STOCK, my friend of Z06 had problems to change the 2º gear to 3º gear see the situation!!!

but this Z06 570hps + 100 NITRO has a impressive power!!!
