Which 997 TT?

Just wondering which 997 TT is the, “best bang for the buck”? Is the 997.2 worth the extra money over the 997.1? I’m leaning towards a 6 speed, but I’m intrigued by the PDK with the paddles as well. (which I know is only an option in the .2) What other options are a “must have”? The car will be driven a few days a week, with no track time.

Thanks in advance,

Drive both, difference between the two is noticeable but not profound. I've had both and think the 997.2 is really a terrific car. Opted for the 6 speed, just like that shifthy feeling.
Not ready for an automatic in a sports car, old school thinking but... Bang for the buck is relative, you can have as much fun in an 07 for less money with a lot left for some mods. But drive both, newer cars have updated electronics, blue tooth, better nav. etc. Take your time and talk to others here, either way wicked FAST and FUN cars.

My $0.02....if I were in ur shoes I would go 997.1. Your not going to drive the car THAT often so why pay full price even if u can afford it. The 997.1 has the Metzger block and is proven. PDK is cool, but if only driving occasionally, get the FULL experience from ur sports car.....row some gears.

Thanks guys. 997.1 with a 6 speed is the direction I was leaning... Do the 07's not have integrated bluetooth? I plan on keeping the car for a while. Any other "must haves" I should insist on? Sport Chrono, etc.

Thanks again,

Not musts, but would be nice:

I got a loaded CPO 977tt.1, added a TPC suspension, flash, EP2 and headers, wheels and a passport 9500ci. ITs perfect, and I spent WAY less than a bare bones .2
